Donda West's Nephew Under Investigation
A year after Kanye West's mother, Donda, 58, died while recovering from plastic surgery California authorities have launched a probe into the possible role of Donda West's nephew, Stephan Scoggins, 46. A registered nurse, Scoggins was supervising West's post-surgery care with West's assistant and a friend when, according to a source familiar with the situation, he left the house to attend a baby shower the day after West underwent breast augmentation and liposuction last Nov. 10. West died that evening at a Los Angeles hospital. At the time, the death of the rapper's mother was described by a family spokesman as "the result of complications from a cosmetic surgical procedure," a statement that placed intense scrutiny on West's surgeon, Dr. Jan Adams. But last January, a Los Angeles coroner ruled that West died of "multiple post-operative factors," effectively clearing Dr. Adams of responsibility. In this new development, an investigator with the California Department of Consumer Affairs has issued subpoenas asking individuals "to testify in the matter of the investigation of Stephan Scoggins."

How is it ehtical for a hosital to allow a FAMILY MEMBER to supervise another relative's care? doesn't that leave them open to suspicion if anything goes wrong? Wouldn't it be a better look for a hospital to have impartiality at all levels? This looks really, really suspect, and they shouldn't be too quick to let Adams off the hook---he's still got shiesty dealings with previous non-celeb patients that remain unresolved.

she did it to her self, wheather the cousin was even performing the surgery. she was a grown women that knew that she should have saw counseling for her low self esteem.
she didn't even go to a real Dr's office and now it's the cousins fault.
Lesson learned:
Never let someone perform surgery on you...at the club...on the dance-floor...on a Friday night.
Seriously, the doctor and the bunk-nephew-nurse may be contributing factors, but the truth is Donda insisted on that surgery—she was determined to have it against medical advice.
I have some really naturally big knockers myself and the docs tell me I need to quit smoking (cigs, weed) before I have my surgery, but I'm perfectly willing to go against my docs advice and have the surg anyway - without quitting smoking. That's how bad I want smaller tits, so I can feel Miss Donda's pain. No one knows the pain of huge titties, except the women who have them...

The sad thing is, Dr. Adams carrer has been ruined. The media pretty much called him a doctor who got through because of affirmative action.
If I'm not mistaken this surgeon was talked up by Oprah Winfrey, like he was legit and about something. Supposedly after the death of Dr. West some media types wanted comments from Oprah on the surgeon and the word was mum, just as it should have been.
Anyway, I know its too late now, but Dr. West should have focused on getting her body in shape for the surgery or just left it alone altogether and focused on her health. Surgical procedures are stressful on the body, period. In the end it wasn't worth it.
I'm sure all this is messing with Kanye's mind, big time, and will haunt him for a long time. I'm trippin' on the baby shower part of this ordeal, myself. I mean...baby showers have good food and all (usually), but come on, man.
Something tells me this cousin is at least one family member that won't be sitting at Kanye's Thanksgiving dinner table.
1:35, I started growing breast in the second grade and I was fully developed in the third grade at a 36 bra size. I was the only one with boobies in my elementary school days. I had bigger breast than the 5th graders.
In high school, I was always called out for having big breast. It is hard working out at the gym because I have to find the right sized sports bra that will hold my b-size. I was thinking about a breast reduction as well but I was convinced that it was not a good idea.

What fault is it of the nephew? If she needed recovery time she should have been on a surgical floor at the hospital. What can anyone do watching someone at home? If something serious happens all you can do is call 911 if it's really not good or drive the person to the hospital.
And were they paying the nephew to watch her? Did they have some kind of legal agreement? Did he perform the surgery? Did he prescribe her anything? Because if not, they need to leave it alone.

She was told by other Dr.s not to have the surgery so I agree they should let this rest if the Dr. has been cleared because other than her it was his fault for going through with it.
911 could have been called quicker had he not been at the baby shower. I also agree that you never let kin take care of you. There can be an alterior motive for your sudden death. Most are greedy when they think you have money or access to it.
