I had to be a mother and stay strong for her. I'd cry when she'd go to sleep so she wouldn't see me like that - I had a responsibility to her." Why are we bringing this up? Because Brandy is promoting her new cd 'Human' so she's been on the promo circuit spilling her guts. She also says the reason she lied about being married is because she felt tremendous pressure to be a good role model. And she declares, "I think this is my year because I've decided that I'm going to go with the flow in my life. The purpose of my life is music. It's my responsibility to give the fans something they've been waiting for, something they deserve."

I have always loved Brandy's voice and the way she sings! I have EVERY CD and that FULL MOON was DAT DEAL if you ain't up on it!! I don't care what she does in her personal life. We all make mistakes. We all have put on a front at some point for whatever reason. As long as we learn from tour blunders and make better choices for our future it's OKAY!!!

Why would she tell her daughter about the accident at this age her little brain can't process that. Maybe she could tell her when she is 13 or 14 or so just so she can know what happened but other than that I think she should wait.

Is this bitch stupid or what? Why the hell would she even consider putting out an album when Beyonce has an album out? Nobody will buy that shit. I swear no other singer should be allowed to put out an album when Bey is dropping an album. Bey is the greatest singer ever dead or alive. There will NEVER be anyone better. I wouldn't call her a "straight up killer", it was a car ACCIDENT. She wasn't recklessly drinking and driving. Accidents happen. Unfortunately someone lost their life and that is something she'll have to live with, but to call her a "straight up killer" is extremely harsh.
Any one of us could get in a fatal car crash today or tomorrow. We would be remorseful and no number of "I'm sorrys" would resolve the situation or put the victim's family at ease. We have the luxury of only making the local news though, and not having the gossip rags (both print and television) and national "news" speculate about what happened as they slowly revisit the story to eventually report facts.
Brandy shouldn't talk to her daughter about the accident right now. Is the child even five years old? You have to give kids information in context and at the age when they can understand it. It may however be appropriate for her to share that story when Sy'rai gets her driver's permit and needs a first-hand lesson on why she should be a cautious driver.
Brandy means well. Her brother, now he's a different story - so disgusting, such a mess! I would never write a long reply for him. Let her make a living. We need more talented singers putting out CDs and less studio-generated stars.

I loved her Afrodisiac and Full Moon album. Regarding her unplanned pregnancy--she should have just kept quiet about it and NOT have done that stupid special delivery special on Mtv (her baby daddy wasn't very attentive, or even interested that I could see).
