Time to trying to sell out stadiums and start doing small person venues; either than or get some more big names to so the buyer can get more bang for their buck.

I paid $39.75 (with fees) for the last 10 rows (We're in row 1 of 10) when she comes to the Bay Area next Saturday (Concord, Ca). I will see teh same show everyone else will see who spent $119 plus fees! I spent $175/ticket to see her and Jay Z. It was a GREAT concert but I refuse to spend that kind of dough, EVER!

yes, in these times, it's the perfect time for "intimate" settings when it comes to these artists.

Did anyone else notice how snitch massacred robin thicke's name? lol

it's too cold to be at HiFi buys Amphitheatre anyways.. I'll listen to some mp3s in the privacy of my own home, thanks.

i'm agreeing with quesha. i don't even have a job right now, so even if i did run into a few dollars, paying $75 for concert tickets is not in the cards for me. bills come first. i feel bad when an artists that i like drops a cd and i can't support it because that $15has to go buying food. i wish mary and robin the best, but the fact is, a lot of people just don't have it to spend. in my balling days i preferred smaller venues like the Fox Theater and Apache Cafe anywy.

when one employer lays off 450 folks and another lays off 500 plus people, i dont think they are thinking about buying concert tickets. i know if i was in their place i wouldnt.

I had a professor who said in a round about way that if the economy doesn't improve HBCU's will suffer because a lot depend on the student loan money. And I noticed that white colleges are depending on Alumni support and endowments to cover school and not use loans.
