Over 200 mourners turned out Friday for the funeral of Dr. Dre's 20 year old son, Andre Young Jr.. The cause of death has not been determined. Results of toxicology reports are expected in the coming weeks.

Regardless of what may have been, he was this young man's father and was acknowledged as such which is more than I can say that a lot of men are doing today. It takes a certain amount of strength to do what he is doing. I doubt if I would have had the strength to get dressed for the services let alone be pallbearer carrying the casket of MY child. God bless Dr. Dre's family during these difficult times.

Lesley-Dre is rich. He could of taken his BM to court to get access. Futhermore, the young man was 20, after he turned 18 he was an adult, and his mother could not hide him from Dre any longer.
Yeh, the bottom line is the less you're in your child's life at a young age, the less likely you'll have a viable relationship when they reach adulthood. I don't know anything about Dre and his relationship (or lack of) with his son, but common sense tells me that if there was no relationship between em, it's probably because pops didn't fight hard enough to forge one. My opinion.

@lesley- I hear what you are saying and you make some good points. But I wounld not put it past a dead dad coming to his childs funeral and being a pall bearer to look good to the public. When I was in high school a classmate's addict mother set her up to be robbed. the classmate was killed in the robbery. Her mother still came to her funeral. Half of the time she looked disturbed and the other half she was behaving the way any mother would who has lost her child.

Dre's son and his sister stated in a interview that they grew up in the projects. Dre had money and I am from LA and niggas know Dre ain't taking care of none of his 8 kids except for the new wife's. He could easily have given more child support, no mother would say no to money so for those jumping on the baby mama without the facts shows all about your view of women and your past relationships. NONE of his kids should have grown up in the projects on Section 8 unless the nigga was profiling in the 80's and didn't have money.
You need to get facts straight he has about 13kids this one was an only child. He was raised in they valley.Support was paid as well ignorant ass.
