Mos Def Attacks Photographer
Mos Def does not like paparazzi or random people taking his picture. So Mos was in Las Vegas for the MAGIC fashion convention when some random dude, who didn't know Mos' aversion to snapshots, tried to get a picture of the camera-shy rapper/actor. They say your boy went off, screaming: "Everybody knows I don't take pictures!" and snatched dude's camera off his neck, cutting the shooters hand in the process. Mos is now under investigation for larceny and you can bet a lawsuit is not far behind.

These pseudo-celebs kill me wanting fame on their own terms. He's lucky they're stick checking for him in the first place.
8:22... at least Mos got real talent, unlike these other cats who are so called "hot". Mos and Talib Kweli kill anybody you put in front of them. Mos is a good actor too. Sadly, our community doesn't get behind the dudes with the REAL talent.
Mos Def, if you don't like your picture taken, why not try some Michael J. type disguises?

i love mos. i saw on tmz a while back he doesn't like his picture taken. it has to be based on permission or there wouldn't be any pictures of him. he told the photog on tmz that "i'm from bedstuy and where i'm from, you don't take people's pictures without permission" and that's true.. it's just looks bad on paper. i bet the pap had a big ass camera in his face with bright flashes.

@beegee- I really want to see the Toussiant pic but I read on another blog they Danny Glover was having trouble getting backing for the film. Execs keep saying the movie needed a white hero.
to the idiots that believe that being a celebrity automatically means you should be used to/ tolerate people taking your pictures at random moments, whenever you go out, etc....get a clue.
some celebrities are simply doing their jobs, and try to shy away from the media attention, unlike most of the famewhores we see on a daily basis.
