Jeffrey Wright Got Tasered
Actor Jeffrey Wright [Lackawana Blues, Basquiat, Boycott, Shaft] got arrested down in Shreveport, Lousiana last week after he and some of the crew from his latest film got into a bar fight with some locals. Jeffrey is playing Colin Powell to Josh Brolin's George W. Bush in Oliver Stone's new movie 'W'. Details are sketchy, but they say Jeffrey wasn't involved in the actual fight. After the cops showed up, Jeff and Josh tried to speak up for their friends and Jeffrey got tasered, called a nigger and thrown in jail and Josh Brolin got the pepper spray treatment. Six others from the crew, including Josh Brolin were also arrested.

BITCH PLEASE!! I know u are some beat down heffa with all kinds of issues, so I will keep this short. My brother was shot in Harlem almost 8 years ago by an italian police officer.. Real talk bitch!! 5:51 PM- I do not understand why my comment upset you. If you think that he is such an outstanding actor, you should try to convince some of those who are unaware of his work through listing a few of his most memorable performances, and explain why those performances are stellar examples of his acting ability.
He is not the only underrated blk actor in Hollywood. I don't watch much television but I do watch a fairly decent amount of movies many of them foreign(Africa and European) and independent. Most American movies bore me. Most American films which get major backing are nothing but a load of regurgitated crap from 80's cartoons, crappy comedies(40 year old virgin, babymoma etc) or an extension of the sexual & violent teenage fantasies via videogames of young American men with a few sappy overly emotional female geared movies thrown in for good measure. Hollywood is an example of capitalism at its finest, whatever sells keep making it over and over and over again.
If you have some suggestions of good movies, please enlighten me(us).

And* this^^^ is the reason that my generation has a much broader knowledge base than your own. Many of my generation draw from a wider base to form our opinions about the world and current events. We are no longer limited to viewing and reading the same TV shows, newspapers, magazines etc.. that every other person in the neighborhood. We have more options and many of us take advantage of them. Your generation was good at memorizing what you were told without truly thinking.

Goddamn, can y'all at least assign some sort of ambassador (like a college student or somebody who knows the world outside of gotdamn Louisiana) to show these people around, show 'em the better parts and not the more backwoods ass parts of the city. Then, y'know, they have a good time, they go back and tell their other famous friends, who come, and eventually, we get some action going. But noooo....
And now this shit.
