To play devils advocate sometimes these "hardcore rappers" employ REAL street dudes/gangs/etc. to roll with them instead of off duty cops *cough**50 cent**cough* and once the cops get wind of this they are gonna watch you cuz they may keep doing that street shit with the rappers as cover. It doesnt help that he [Jones] and other rappers portrays this hardcore lifestyle then when confronted about it they cop out and say "it's just music" or "its my past".

Granted she is not a rapper, wasnt watched or tracked by any major law enforcement, but shit like this is what law enforcement is worried about; considering if you are are/were a major street player and the cops been had a file on you of course they gonna watch you and who you roll with. The shit with GV may have been just dumb luck or not, who knows.
One other thing is what if someone who's hating drops a dime to cops that the rapper is up to no good...just cuz he's of another race and a rapper should the cops ignore it just cuz someone was hating?
At least with a rapper such as Tupac...he actually got into a gun fight with cops and still was able to avoid a charge.

I'm all for transparency so it can protect the people and beat the ass of anyone be they undercover to the top brass can be held accountable in case they want to do some dirty shit.

Just saw the video (i'm at work so had to watch it on the low) and i hope they file a report on his ass and show them this video cuz that cops needs to gets the shit kicked out of him cuz in this situation that bastard doesn't need to be a fucking cop.
In this situation its 100% the cops fault cuz these so called rappers aren't use to the "being photographed" thing that comes with being a suto-celebrity. So they dont want their picture taken, but act out physically towards the photographer which is wrong.

The cop better be glad he had a gun. If they had a specific policy for taking pictures backstage then he should have followed it or identified himself as a police officer, but nah this cop was walking around looking like a fake thug actin hard. Guns are dangerous and no one should just pull out a gun in crowd like that. He wanted to take pictures, but he was Scared. I'm glad they took his pictures too. Police know need to identify themselves because pulling guns without proper ID can get you hurt in any hood. It could've been a sadder situation for real.

Shows you how stupid some of these cops can be. He blew his cover trying to be a hard ass. A smart UC would have just fell back when asked to stop taking pictures in order to maintain his cover. Guarantee you that there will be some type of disciplinary action taken just on procedure alone, even if you never hear about it. Dude put his life in extreme danger and he is lucky someone didn't pop him.
Mark my words. Sooner or later, one of these dumb ass UCs is going to pull out a piece without properly identifying himself and will end up in a box with 500 cops marching behind it in a procession with black stripes running across their badges. @Bronx I'm a cop with the 32nd precinct we're looking for a member of the Dipset/Skull/Byrd Gang. I wasn't working Summer Jam. They received good intel that the perp would be at Summer Jam with Jim Jones. I've been a cop for 6 yrs. I'm from the hood so I became a cop to stop the disrespect that some guys on the job show our community. I don't know if you remember this but 2 yrs ago Camron got stopped and arrested for no registration/suspended license. Camron was being an asshole when I tried to keep it from getting out of hand. I was called to Lenox Ave, but of course Camron had to act like a tough guy. When I search a vehicle I always ask "Are there any guns in this vehicle" I don't care about a bag of weed only guns.
@Bronx the Westchester County DA worked with C.I. that told how the drugs were being moved from the West Coast to East Coast.
