Gary Dourdan Arrested
Ex-CSI star Gary Dourdan was arrested in Palm Springs yesterday on suspicion of possessing heroin, cocaine, ecstasy and prescription drugs. The actor was asleep in his car at 5:21 AM when officers approached his vehicle and made the arrest. Too bad this comes as no surprise to RWSers. We posted last week that Gary was let go from CSI because of his drug abuse problems.

SUSPICION OF possessing heroine, cocaine, ecstasy, and prescription drugs??? What are they suspicious about? Either he had it on him or he didn't. I guess they throw the term "suspicion" in there in case they want to let him off. "Oh, we suspected he had all those drugs on him. But he really didn't." Bullshark!!!! The only thing I suspect is that he was about to make a suicide cocktail. That may sound harsh, but you never know.

But, I'm leaning toward him wanting to make people think he was going to kill himself. (Possibly because of his recent termination from CSI.) Either way, publicity is publicity, ya know. Oh well, we know Hollyweird. He'll be back in something else soon. How many times was Robert Downey Jr arrested and in rehab? And he's still making movies.

Maaaan hollywood is a bitch. Its really hard to be grounded there - if you are just an average citizen looking in from the outside it seems really simple, but the truth is it really isn't.
Its sad, but alot of them out there just fall into the whole scene - drugs are like nothing, its just part of the scene. Just like we roll to the club/ bar and have a drink they roll out and get a hit.

to respond to a couple of you, he is arrested on SUSPICION of possessing controlled substances because the substances have to be confirmed by lab tests to prove that they are in fact illegal substances. he could've had a bag of sugar or something so even though the cops know it's drugs and he had paraphenalia, the suspected drugs must be tested and verified as drugs before he can be charged with possessing them. so it's not whether he had drugs or not, it's whether they are actuaaly illegal drugs or not.

This is sad, I have known Gary for sometime.Since his frist video from back in the day. Hollywood must be a very cruel and hard place because everyone seems to need drugs to cope. They start out with this vision of fame and don't seem to realize that fame come swith a price. He is on Herion so it is going to take him some time to recover. The best of luck to him.
