Isaiah Thomas Sexual Harrasment Trial Begins
Remember when we talked about Isaiah Thomas being sued for sexual harassment by the NY Knicks' former marketing director, Anucha Browne Sanders? Well the trial's started and the testimony has been explosive. Anucha testified in open court that Isaiah was always starting sentences with the word bitch. "Bitch, I don't give a fuck about the sponsors. Bitch, I don't give a fuck about ticket sales. That's your job." She also said one time she asked Isaiah to hand-sign letters to season-ticket holders and that he said, "I don't give a fuck about these white people." She also claims Isaiah first pulled her aside at a Christmas party in 2004, and that they played the basketball game "horse," and that's when Thomas told her, "I figured out why we have problems. It's because we're so much alike. I'm in love with you. It's like the movie, 'Love and Basketball.' They say Isaiah laughed out loud several times during Anucha's testimony.

I am someone who has been sexually harassed. There are not many women that will come forward in cases like these but kudos to Anucha Brown Sanders. SHE IS NOT A LIAR! Maybe her case will wake up a lot of people to the realities of sexual harassment and that companies/corporations cannot get away with it. If men think that sexually harassing a woman will give them control and power, we will prove you wrong. NO ONE should ever have to put up with it and all the women of the workforce will hopefully be courageous and come forward if they are improperly treated. Let this publicized case be a lesson for all. I have been through 2 years of hell and serious depression (which I neglect to let people know) because I put my reputation on the line. It's been a very difficult road but I will get through it just like Anucha Sanders Brown. She is a brave woman NOT a bitch! Isaiah Thomas should be ashamed of himself. Everyone needs to be treated with dignity and respect in the workplace, remember that.
